It was an absolutely beautiful day on Saturday so we took full advantage of it! We started the day with Clint working on finishing the dock and Rylee and I playing on the porch with her new car and the water hose! Later that afternoon, we went out on the lake with our neighbors for Rylee's first boat ride. She did great! Usually she is such a wiggle worm but she was content sitting on my lap taking in all the sights. That evening we met some friends for dinner with their two girls - one Rylee's age. They had a blast running around chasing each other after dinner. To end the night we went to Daylight Donuts and treated Rylee to her first donut...she loved it. It is amazing how fast she is growing and developing her own personality. She is already a true girly girl and loves shoes, purses and hats!

I can't believe she stayed in your lap on the boat - probably half out of fear, but that is amazing! And it looks like that life vest keeps her pretty much contained! So funny how they totally engulf the little ones:)
